Network Monitoring

To most companies it is business critical that all systems are up and running, but it is impossible to avoid outages and it often takes a long time to identify and correct these breakdowns.

The IT department is busy:

  • “my computer is slow”, “I cannot connect”, “I don’t remember my login”
  • Your boss wants reports and documentation that all requirements in compliance
  • How do we control remote locations and MSPs?

Is this issue caused by the network, the servers or an application?

In order to be proactive, a monitoring tool is necessary because it will alert you so that you can quickly identify the problem.

Monitoring is usually via SNMP and is based on measurements of traffic, bandwidth usage, errors, protocols and a passive interpretation of syslog, SNMP traps, and flow data.

A monitoring tool will typically provide you with auto discovery on all elements on the network, servers and applications as well as reports, alerts and a user-friendly web interface, where everything is controlled and can be customized according to your requirements.

For the past 20 years Draware has been helping 800+ companies in the Nordic countries with monitoring their IT installations and we are looking forward to helping you finding the right tool, buying the right software, installing it, customizing it, providing training and thereby making sure that you and your company will quickly get started.
