What is iGrafx IDEF0®?
iGrafx IDEF0® is an easy to use diagramming tool to help IDEF0 practitioners visualize complex technical subjects. With design wizards, correct by construction enforcement, post design validation and an intuitive interface, you can easily and quickly develop IDEF0 compliant diagrams. As one component of a holistic approach to process analysis, IDEF0 diagrams can link directly to swimlane process maps for a comprehensive means of capturing knowledge from the system level down to the process steps.

Node trees can be automatically created through a menu selection.


Can I link an IDEF0 diagram with a swimlane® diagram?
As a member of the iGrafx family of products, iGrafx IDEF0 is unique in its ability to automatically link to a process, or swim-lane diagram. Up/down arrow navigation is maintained to enable quick maneuvering between the IDEF0 diagram and swim lane diagram.


Do I need another iGrafx product to run iGrafx IDEF0?
iGrafx IDEF0 ships with iGrafx FlowCharter so you get full functionality out of the box.


Do you provide training on the iGrafx products?
iGrafx professional services provides open enrollment as well as on-site training for all iGrafx products.


Does iGrafx enforce the IDEF0 conventions?
iGrafx IDEF0 will enforce the IDEF0 standards as default behavior.As a user, you have the ability to selectively disable IDEF0 rules if you require flexibility.

iGrafx IDEF0 has powerful Web export capability to enable output for web use. All diagram links, IDEF0 explorer and glossaries are maintained during the export so the Web experience is similar to the tool experience.


Can I customize the appearance of my diagram frame?
You can create a custom frame for the IDEF diagrams by editing the frame template.
